Mike Chavez (Congregational Representative) - 5/13/2020

As you may have heard the Madison County Board voted to approve the re-opening of businesses and churches with an accelerated timeline on Tuesday 5/12/2020. This would enable RBCC to reopen with the following guidelines in place; limited occupancy to 50% of max capacity, a written Responsible Re-opening Plan submitted and approved by the Madison County Board of Heath and adherence to social distancing practices.

Last night our church leadership met shortly after the vote was made to discuss how and when we are going to re-open. Like you, we are all chomping at the bit to return to normal but we also want to handle it in a safe and responsible manner. So as it stand we are planning on having the doors open as soon as possible. Please take time to read the Re-opening Plan below if you wish attend that way you know what to expect when you arrive as this will be different that a regular Sunday morning. We are asking all in attendance to adhere to all “Covid Courtesies” such as wearing a face mask while out of your seat, maintaining 6ft of space with others, avoiding touching high traffic items.

We will be also Live Steaming Sunday morning service on Facebook as well if you are uncomfortable with meeting or are feeling ill. Just remember, no matter what your view on the virus or the re-opening please treat each other with Christ-like love and respect.

1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous
